How to exercise your data protection rights under UK GDPR.
In the app
Where available, you can manage data directly from your account:
- Account → Privacy & data — download a copy of your data, delete coach messages, analyses, images, withdraw sensitive-data or marketing consent, delete account
Waitlist-only visitors can email info@mayadating.com to access or erase a waitlist signup.
Contact us
Email info@mayadating.com with:
- your request type (access, correction, deletion, etc.)
- the email address associated with your account
- enough detail for us to locate your data
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
Rights you can request
- Access - copy of personal information we hold
- Rectification - correct inaccurate information
- Erasure - delete information in certain circumstances
- Restriction - limit how we use information
- Objection - object to certain processing
- Portability - receive data in a machine-readable format where applicable
- Withdraw consent - for processing based on consent (e.g. sensitive dating information, marketing emails)
Complaints
If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the ICO: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Response times
We aim to respond within one month of identity verification, as required for most UK GDPR requests. Complex cases may take longer; we will tell you if so.
