Who operates the service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MayaDating (the "Service"). MayaDating is a brand of Nimzo Holdings Ltd (company number 17453506), a company registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Suite A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE.

Eligibility
The Service is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We may ask you to verify your age and may suspend or close accounts where we reasonably believe this requirement is not met.
The service
MayaDating is a digital coaching platform. Depending on your plan, the Service may include:
- dating profile analysis and feedback
- profile photo, bio and prompt feedback
- AI dating coaching conversations
- message or conversation analysis
- date debriefs and reflections
- dating insights and coaching plans
- suggested messages or practice conversations
- personalised recommendations based on information you provide
Features may change, be added, limited or withdrawn. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.
AI-generated content
Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence to generate coaching feedback, analysis and suggestions. AI outputs are recommendations and interpretations - not objective facts.
- AI may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate for your situation.
- The Service cannot know what another person thinks, feels or intends.
- You remain responsible for decisions you make, including messages you send and dates you pursue.
- The Service is not professional psychological, medical, legal or therapeutic advice. Maya is an AI coach, not a human therapist or counsellor.

Dating and interpersonal decisions
We do not guarantee matches, relationships, dating success, another person's intentions, or the accuracy of any profile assessment.
The Service is designed to support reflection and decision-making. It is not a substitute for professional support where you need it.
Accounts
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Accounts are for individual use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit (including photos, bios, prompts, conversations, notes and other uploads). You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, analyse and display that content only as necessary to provide and improve the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
We do not claim ownership of your content.
Upload restrictions
You must not upload content that:
- you do not have the right to share
- depicts minors in a dating or sexual context
- is illegal or promotes illegal activity
- is intended to harass, stalk or threaten someone
- contains unnecessary highly sensitive information about another person
- infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
Please minimise information about third parties wherever possible.
Other people's information
If you upload screenshots, conversations or profiles involving another person, those materials may contain their personal information. Upload only what is reasonably necessary for the analysis you request.
You are responsible for ensuring you are legally permitted to submit the content. These Terms do not replace your data-protection obligations when handling someone else's information.
Safety and prohibited use
You must not use the Service for stalking, harassment, coercion, threats, blackmail, non-consensual sexual activity, impersonation, deceptive manipulation, circumventing blocks, obtaining private information unlawfully, exploiting minors, or any illegal activity.
Subscriptions and payments
MayaDating offers a free plan and a paid full-access plan. Current displayed prices (subject to change) are approximately £4.99 per month or £35.88 charged once for 12 months on the annual plan, then renews every 12 months at that annual price unless you cancel before the next renewal.
Waitlist launch offer. If you joined the waitlist before launch, you may activate a one-time first month free on the monthly plan. We will show you the renewal price and date before you confirm. After the free month, the subscription continues at £4.99/month unless you cancel before renewal. You may cancel at any time during the free month without being charged when it would renew. Each eligible waitlist account may activate this offer once.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the frequency shown at checkout unless cancelled before renewal. You can cancel from Account → Manage subscription (Stripe customer portal) where available, or by contacting us. Cancellation normally stops future renewals at the end of the current billing period (or at the end of a free promotional period if you cancel before it ends). Cancellation does not automatically refund amounts already paid unless our refund policy or your statutory rights require it.
Payment processing may be handled by Stripe or another payment provider. Card details are processed by the payment provider, not stored directly by us in full.
We may change prices with reasonable advance notice. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
For legal review: subscription terms, renewal, cancellation mechanics and any free-trial wording must be confirmed against current UK consumer contract requirements before launch.
Cooling-off and consumer rights
If you are a UK consumer buying at a distance, you may have statutory rights including cancellation rights in relevant circumstances (including, where applicable, a 14-day cooling-off period under UK consumer contract rules). Those rights are not removed by these Terms.
Nimzo Holdings Ltd will honour cancellation and refund rights you are legally entitled to. How those rights apply to digital subscriptions and online services depends on your circumstances and applicable law.
We do not treat your use of MayaDating as an automatic waiver of statutory cancellation or cooling-off rights unless a specific, compliant mechanism has been legally reviewed and clearly presented to you.

Refunds
General rule
Unless UK law requires otherwise, subscription payments to MayaDating are non-refundable once charged.
Your statutory rights
Nimzo Holdings Ltd will honour any cancellation and refund rights you are legally entitled to under UK consumer law.
UK rules for distance contracts and subscriptions can include cancellation rights in relevant circumstances (including, where applicable, a 14-day cooling-off period). Nothing in our Terms is intended to remove those rights.
We do not state that you waive statutory cancellation or cooling-off rights simply by using the Service unless a specific mechanism has been legally reviewed and clearly presented to you in compliance with UK law.
Free month and promotional periods
If you activate a free-month or similar promotional period, you can cancel at any point during that period and you will not be charged when the promotional period would otherwise renew into paid billing, provided cancellation is effective before renewal.
After you cancel a paid subscription
Cancelling stops future renewals. You normally keep access until the end of the current paid billing period. We do not usually give partial or prorated refunds for unused time on a monthly or annual subscription, except where UK law requires otherwise.
When we may refund
Accidental or duplicate charges: we will refund in full where we or our payment provider (for example Stripe) have charged you incorrectly or more than once for the same subscription.
Service failure: we may refund where a material technical failure on our side means you could not reasonably access the paid service for a significant period.
Goodwill: we may issue discretionary refunds in exceptional circumstances. That does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund in other cases.
How to request a refund
Contact us at info@mayadating.com with your account email and details of the charge. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Nothing in this Refunds section affects your statutory consumer rights.
Intellectual property
We own the Service, brand, design, software and underlying technology (except your content and third-party materials). You may not copy, reverse engineer or misuse our intellectual property.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for serious breaches, illegal activity, abuse, security risks, or payment failure where applicable. You may delete your account at any time from account settings.
Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
For legal review: the full limitation of liability provisions for a UK consumer-facing digital service must be drafted or approved by qualified counsel.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction where applicable.
